The Sydney Etiquette College offers a service to school students from years 7-11 where we teach them basic essential etiquette. This is a one day class held in our training rooms at North Sydney for up to 25 students who will embrace “first hand” the importance of basic etiquette.
All female students will have a makeover. Our professional make up artists will show them how to apply a day-makeup correctly and an appropriate evening-makeup for their school formals.
This course is of particular benefit to overseas students coming here to study English or other subjects. Very often, not understanding our local customs and etiquette can leave them feeling isloated, or engaging in behaviour considered anti-social by their fellow students and teachers.
Schools have realised that education is increasingly diverse. Respect, manners, confidence and body language contribute to perceptions about the “person you are” and is so important.
These schools book from year to year to secure the extra knowledge for their students, it gives them the “edge” when applying for their first jobs. A PowerPoint presentation is an interactive way of getting the message across to years’ 7 – 11 students.
The job results have been remarkable for the students who have had the opportunity to be offered this program, they leave school with self belief and confidence.
